The Nihonmatsu of Mutsu Province were descendants of the Hatakeyama Clan, and were ruled by Yoshitsugu. In 1586, the Date Clan attacked the Hatakeyama and Yoshitsugu entered the battle. However, he was killed by the enemy forces. The Nihonmatsu Clan was destroyed.
